Rules of Snapshot Society

To maintain a positive, respectful, and engaging community, all members of Snapshot Society are expected to follow a set of guidelines designed to promote safety, creativity, and collaboration. First and foremost, all submitted photographs must be original works created by the person submitting them. Plagiarism or unauthorized use of someone else’s images is strictly prohibited and will result in removal from the club. We encourage artistic expression, but content must remain appropriate for a general audience—no offensive, explicit, or violent imagery is allowed. Members should respect all age groups and cultures represented in our community. Failure to comply with these rules may lead to warnings, removal of content, or suspension of membership.

In addition, we require members to maintain respectful and constructive communication. Whether you’re leaving feedback on someone’s photo, participating in chat discussions, or engaging in contests, please be courteous and avoid offensive language, spam, or bullying of any kind. Voting in contests should be fair and based on photo quality and creativity rather than personal connections. The admin team reviews flagged content regularly, and any attempts to manipulate votes or exploit the platform will result in disqualification. Lastly, all members must follow the club’s submission deadlines and size/resolution requirements when uploading photos. By adhering to these rules, you help us create a welcoming and inspiring space where everyone can grow as photographers and connect through their passion.
